Studio Policies
Booking & Session Time
Sessions are booked and billed in fixed time blocks. When a session is scheduled, that entire time window is reserved exclusively for the client.
Session time includes preparation, setup, and availability. Billing reflects time reserved, not only time actively used.
Late Starts & Overtime
Late Starts
If a session begins late for any reason, it still concludes at the originally scheduled end time unless otherwise agreed upon.
Overtime
Extensions beyond the booked session time are optional, subject to availability, and must be mutually agreed upon. Any additional time is billed accordingly.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Guitar & Mixing Lessons
Cancellations or rescheduling require 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged 50% of the lesson fee. No-shows are charged thefull fee.
Songwriting / Artist Development Coaching
Because these sessions are often scheduled outside of normal business hours, cancellations require 48 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled within 48 hours are charged 50% of the session fee. No-shows are charged in full.
Rescheduling
With adequate notice (24–48 hours depending on the service), sessions may be rescheduled at no cost. Last-minute reschedules count as cancellations.
Emergencies
Emergencies happen. Please communicate as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
Payment Policy
Payment is due before or on the day of the session. This secures your time slot and keeps scheduling on track.
If payment is not received on the day of the session, future sessions may be paused until the balance is cleared.

Cash / Cheque, Interac eTransfer, PayPal
Travel Policy
For lessons at your location, travel time is included in the session fee. Travel time of 15 minutes or more each way is billed at the regular lesson rate.
Lesson Bundles
I offer 4- and 8-lesson bundles for guitar lessons at a discounted rate with flexible scheduling. I also offer discounts on mixing lessons if you purchase as a group.
Bundles are prepaid and do not need to be used consecutively. If you skip a week, remaining lessons carry forward. All lessons must be redeemed within one year of the purchase date.
